My first macro attempts using a hybrid "macro" lens arrangement. The Camera is a Panasonic GH2, with 14 + 7mm extension tubes and a 4/3rds lens adapter to Nikon, and using an old Nikkor-H 50mm lens. The camera is on manual, ISO 160, shutter 1/60th, @ f8 set on the lens. Focusing is by rack & pinion. Exposure is calculated in-camera. Total cost about $120 for all the bits, a tad cheaper than the 45mm Leica macro made for the camera.
